He has a proven record of implementing technology-enabled, low-carbon and renewable business models, including a cellulosic biofuels plan identifying $100M+ EBITDA opportunities, structuring a joint venture in plastics-to-fuel technology, and executing a global strategy to market four technology packages valued at $34M. His leadership drives growth at the intersection of energy and biotechnology.

Kimberly Kupiecki, MBA, is Head of Business Development at Alchemyca. She leads all commercial aspects of Alchemyca’s digital, analytical, and bioaugmentation solutions, forming strategic partnerships across waste management, water, and renewable energy. With over 20 years’ experience spanning startups to Fortune 500 companies, she has held senior roles at Ginkgo Bioworks, DuPont, and Dow, directing multimillion-dollar initiatives in biomanufacturing, water, and clean technology. Kimberly holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School. She is also an inventor and advisor dedicated to advancing biotechnology solutions that deliver economic and environmental value.

Seth Rhoades, PhD, is Head of Data Analytics at Alchemyca, applying expertise in analytical chemistry, computational metabolic engineering, and informatics to industrial biotechnology. He has developed SaaS tools for healthcare network evaluation and led product development for integrated metabolomics lab automation. Seth has performed technoeconomic analyses of microbial fermentation for renewable oleochemicals, advising on pathways to break-even for sustainable biofuels and chemicals. He earned his PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Biology from Wake Forest University, bridging science, software, and commercialization in emerging industries.
